A hearty, cozy chili made with lean ground turkey, tomatoes, and plenty of spices. Perfect for weeknight dinners or make-ahead meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 bell pepper diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 15 oz can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 15 oz can black beans, drained
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Brown turkey in oil; add onion and pepper and cook until softened.
  • Stir in garlic, chili powder, and cumin 30 seconds.
  • Add tomatoes and beans; simmer 20–25 minutes; season to taste.

💡 Katie's Notes

For a thicker chili, simmer an extra 10 minutes.
For spicier chili, increase cayenne or add chopped jalapeño during the sauté.
Freezes well for up to 3 months.
